Today we give reverence to our Lord and Saviour for Mother Lille Rose Bowman's 95 years on earth. Mother Lillie Rose was born March 6, 1923 to the late Madison Bolden and the late Pheobia Cradic Bolden in Jasper County, South Carolina. She departed this life on May 27, 2018, Hampton Regional Medical Center, Varnville, SC. Mother Bowman was the mother of First Pine Savannah Baptist Church, Pineland, South Carolina.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Deacon Joseph Bowman, Sr, on May 3, 1955. To this union 3 children, five grandchildren, and seven grandchildren were born. She was preceded in death by her: husband, Deacon Joseph Bowman; her parents; sibling; Albert Cardic, Stephen Bolden, Major Bolden, Marion Bolden, Heyward Bolden, Ernest Bolden, Sarah Cardic Green, Celia Taylor, Elizabeth Young, Alease Gordon, Vera Williams, Evalena Warren, Marie Horton, Louise Williams, Emma Mungin, and Wyman Bolden.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Roberta Greene, Pineland, SC; two sons, John Edward Bolden, Pineland, SC and Joseph (Shelia) Bowman, Jr., Ridgeland, SC; Five grandchildren, Latrelle (Somad) Porter, Sumter, SC, Denise and Jermaine Bowman both of Ridgeland, SC; special devoted grandchildren, Monique Bowman, Virginia Beach, VA .and Tremayne ( Denise) Garvin, Charleston, SC; seven great grandchildren, Travon and Quanya Porter, Kamari Mitchell, Donivin and Isaiah Greene, Ni'Jah Singleton, and Zuri A. Garvin; brother, Deacon John Henry (jJulia) Bolden, Sr., Pineland, SC; sisters -in- law, Elizabeth Bowman, Furman, SC, and Betty Bowman, East Orange, NJ; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a loving church family.
