Philippians 3:20-21 tells us that our citizenship is in Heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. On February 1, 2019, Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Mother Mildred Williams hear the Master calling her name, so she turned her back and left this world.
Mildred was born in Miami, Florida on March 11, 1957 to Irene Reid Fields and the late Freddie Fields. She enjoyed her childhood in Seminola, where she attended Miami Springs Senior High. In her latter years, Mildred became a dedicated United States Postal worker and after retiring, she relocated to Luray, South Carolina.
The storm is over now. She fought a good fight. The battle is over. No more pain or suffering. On Friday evening, February 1, 2019, Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, South Carolina, Mildred surrendered to the summon of the Lord.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Freddie Fields; sister, Eula “Cookie” Miller.
She leaves to cherish precious memories and her legacy: son, Roderick (Syria) Rule; mother, Irene Fields; grandchildren, Miren, Romonai, Zariah and Roman Rule; sisters, Rosetta ( Hassan) Ibrahim, Freddie Mae Rivers, and Linda Cason; niece Monica Allen; nephew, Kelcey (Tysheika) Etheridge; a host of other relatives and friends.
