Aaron "AJ" Bennett Obituary

From May 4, 2025, to the end of time, our lives have been changed forever, but Heavenly Father, we understand that your will must be done. We may not understand your decision,  but we refuse to be ungrateful and selfish because of all the joy that Aaron brought into our lives. As a family, we find comfort in knowing that a loving and compassionate God knows what’s best for each of us; although; his life appears to be brief, we’ve shared so many fun memories, countless hours of laughter and so much love. When we start to miss you, we will remember your radiant smile, and how you radiated each of our lives. When the tears start to flow, we will remember the joy that you brought into our lives and what an amazing little angel you were then and will always be for each of us.

Aaron Jakori Bennett was born on December 27, 2015, to  Melissa Denise Bennett in Brunswick, Georgia. Aaron received his formal education at Goodyear Elementary in Brunswick, GA.  To his family and friends, he was known as “AJ”. In his leisure,  he enjoyed playing Nintendo Switch, catching Pokémon,  mortal combat, GT4, loved dinosaurs, and learning about new facts. He also loved reading, eating, and putting food together.

Through all the happiness we’ve ever known, we’ll be grateful for his stay. When the angels called him much sooner than we’d planned, we will brace the bitter grief that comes and try to understand. Aaron Jakori Bennett departed this life on May  4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Melissa  Denise Bennett; and grandparents, Patrica and Richard  Bettison

He leaves to cherish his memory his godmother “Mom” Chasity  Taylor; godfather “Dad” Johnny Alvin; siblings, Damaya Tulces,  Amber Houston, John Houston, Dillynn Holmes; grandparents,  Mittie and Terrance Holmes, Elouise Alvin, and Rose Adams;  great grandmother, Judith Wilson; aunts, Khalia Taylor,  Schantell Wiggins, Tameka (Elijah) Jones, Manieka ( Sedrick)  Palmer, and Kaniyah Waye; uncles, Richard Bennett, Dwayne  Alvin, and Epluribis Bennett; godsister, Juneye Rose-Taylor;  godbrother, Frederick Taylor; godaunt, Keandra Cash; special friend, Sapphire Fox and a host of other relatives, classmates,  teachers, and friends.
