Alexus Y. Scott was born on October 10, 1995 to Mr. James Moore and Shatique Scott-Moore in Brunswick, Georgia. Alexus received her formal education in the Glynn County School System and graduated from Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia. She graduated in 2014 and received her diploma. Alexus Y. Scott accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was united with the Pentecostal church. Her hobbies: swimming, bowling, and riding horses. In her leisure, she enjoyed drinking lots of juice, looking in the mirror making funny faces and relaxing on the sofa.
Alexus Y. Scott departed this life on October 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her great, great grandparents: Emanual Scott, Sr. and Ann P. Scott; grandfather: Bobby Norris.
She leaves to cherish her memory dad: Mr. James Moore, Sr.; mom: Shatique Scott-Moore; brother: James Moore, Jr. (Pryshaya); sisters: Samara E. Moore and Tamara D. Moore; niece: Joi Moore; grandparents: Yevette Wood, James Moore (Debra) and Ruth Buggs; great grandparents: Emanual Scott, Jr. (Ruth), Davine Reid and Zona Moore; aunts: Shakeema Scott, Shacole Colbert; Shakera Everette (Tristen), Artavia Norris, Cynthia Buggs (Juan) and April Shaw; uncles: Jeffrey Scott (Sharon), Rudoulph Colbert and Thaddius Buggs, Jr and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home at any given period during the viewing process. We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building. The family is most appreciative to each of you for all acts of kindness shown to them during this difficult time in their lives.
