I did not want to leave you all because I loved each of you in my own special way, but when God heard my secret cry, His death angels came to take me home. I welcomed my departure from this land because this world was never meant to be my permanent home. There was peace and serenity on this journey. My journey through this life is over, but my true journey has just begun! Don't cry for me but rejoice instead because I am now free and resting in my new home. We all have a beginning and an ending. My life began on June 27, 1940, in Thomson, GA, when God blessed Sam and Jessie Lou Davis Griffin with an amazing bundle of joy named Annie Lois Griffin.
Annie Lois Griffin was united in holy matrimony with Horace Andrews. Their union was blessed with three children.
She was employed by Village by the Sea in the laundry department. She was also employed with King and Prince for many years.
God the giver of life decides when our time is over. Annie Lois Andrews departed this life on February 20, 2025. She was preceded in death by her son, Tommie Andrews; siblings, Ruth Woods, Gladys Griffin, Lonzo Griffin and Sammie Griffin.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Patricia (Earl, Jr.) Bell and Annette Manely; grandchildren, Kendall Andrews, Chanthony Andrews, Sr., Quinnion Andrews, Earl Bell,III., Rodderick Bell, Lakeythe McField and Antwan Andrews; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Marion Griffin and Jeanette Matthews; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
