An amazing and anointed gift from God, Watson Sylvester Kendrick, Jr. was born on March 20, 1963, to Watson Sylvester Kendrick, Sr., and Willie Mae Kendrick in Ocala, Florida.
Watson Kendrick received his formal education at Miami Jackson Senior High School in Miami, Florida. He furthered his education at Job Corp in Albany, Georgia and later became an entrepreneur. His life was ingrained with the doctrine of the word of God and he took to heart, Ecclesiastes 9:10 — “Whatever your hands do, do it with all your might.” Apostle Watson Kendrick accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior later in life and founded “It’s By Faith Ministries”, where he served as the Pastor. In his leisure, he enjoyed being a musician (Rapper), playing basketball, reading, and teaching the word of God.
“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” (II Corinthians 5:8). Most people desire success in life, and they do it in various ways. However, for a true saint of God, the pinnacle of success is to hear the welcome voice of the Lord say, “WELL DONE “. Watson Sylvester Kendrick, Jr., departed this life on August 21, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Watson Sylvester Kendrick, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Willie Mae Kendrick; daughters, Laquanda Kendrick, and Sade Kennon; son, Jarvis Brown; ex-wife, Arnetta Kendrick; son, Watson S. Kendrick III (Montevia Gamble); stepson, Frederick Smith, Jr.; stepdaughter, Angela Brown; siblings, Ricky, Rebella, Rosalind, and Ronald (Vickie); uncles, Milton and Shawn; aunts, Ruby, Mary, and Betty; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and church family.
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside or funeral service, either inside or outside, must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home or any other facility at any given period during the viewing process. We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building. The family is most appreciative to each of you for all acts of kindness shown to them during this difficult time in their lives.
