Arthur Hooks, Jr

Arthur Lee Hooks, Jr. “Tad Pole” was born on September 6, 1942, to Arthur and Lou Hooks in Eastman, Georgia. He received his formal education at Risley High School in Brunswick, Georgia.Arthur accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was united with Strong Tower Ministries where he served as a faithful member.

He was blessed with two children: Lisa Mincey and Leslie Hooks.

Arthur was a phenomenal man with a huge heart and a great sense of humor. He was a loving and caring person who gave to almost anyone in need. He was employed by The City of Brunswick as a laborer for many years.

Arthur Lee Hooks, Jr. departed this life on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Hooks, Sr. and Lou Hooks.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Lisa Mincey of Brunswick, GA and Leslie Hooks; fifteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
