“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
Though I’m gone, my love will continue to shine upon your paths. I am at peace knowing that those that I am leaving behind are surrounded by love and support. No matter how it seems, it was my time to depart my earthly home.
Beverly Ann Ferguson was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on November 12, 1955, to the late Mrs. Willie Mae Ferguson and Mr. Martin Ferguson. Beverly was raised by her aunts, Jeannie Brown and Leola Palmer, in Glynn County and McIntosh County, Georgia. She attended Risley High School in Brunswick, Georgia. Beverly resided in New York City for a while, where she worked as a model before returning to Brunswick, Georgia, which became her permanent home.
Beverly was a free spirit, fine like wine, and a black beauty queen. She had her ups and downs, but she enjoyed life with no regrets. Sadly, her time here has come to an end. She is now in paradise, living a wonderful, carefree life. Beverly is smiling and looking down and saying, “Where is my Michelle?” If you knew Beverly, then you knew about Michelle. Beverly had a big heart, but she did not take any mess, lol. She will be sincerely missed.
She leaves to celebrate and cherish her memories: two devoted daughters, Alicia Ann Ferguson, Marietta, Georgia, and Michelle (Torrey) Dickens, Brunswick, Georgia; seven siblings, Catherine Campbell, Willie James Brown, Diane (John) Saddler, Martin Ferguson, Jr., Gregory (Jenifer) Bragg, Linda Ferguson, and Carol (Tim) Artis; seven grandchildren, Lakeshia, Tameika (Gilbert), Eddie, Kasha, Marlon, Quavarious, and Travarious; four great grandchildren, Travarious, Jr., Gionna, Myrah, and Amira; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
