Brenda Lang Obituary

To all my loved ones that I am leaving behind, don’t worry about me, because my Heavenly Father has set me free. Please be forever grateful and thankful for the happiness we’ve shared. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. This place was never meant to be a permanent home for any of us. Through all the pain and heartaches, give praises and honor to my Heavenly Father for my forty-four years on earth. As you celebrate the end of my life’s journey. I pray that each of you will find comfort in knowing that a loving and compassionate God knows what is best for each of us. I always had this inclination that my time on earth was limited; so, I tried to take advantage of my brief time on earth, and I’ve always shown everyone how much I loved them, too.

In life, there is a beginning and an end. My life began on July 31, 1980, in Brunswick, Georgia, when God lent me to my parents: Verdell Hunter and the late Henry Lang. Brenda was a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, friend and most of all, a child of God. Brenda loved to laugh and crack jokes; she was a loving and caring person. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends. Brenda Lang received her formal education at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia.

God saw my struggles and pain, so He sent His on August 31, 2024, to reclaim His gift to this world. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lee Lang; grandfather, Hazie Lee Lang; and sister Je’Mika Lang.

Brenda leaves to cherish her children, Dominique Lang, Sr., De’Kwon Lang and Na’Kirra Johnson; mother, Verdell (Michael) Hunter; brothers, Darnell Lang (Pimp Nell), Jermaine Lang and Henry Knight (Snake); grandchildren, Delilah Dale, Dominique Lang, Jr and Shamaria Lang;, grandmothers, Ethel Mae Lang and Rena Mae Williams; special aunts, Debra Brunswick, Reba, Connie (Alvin) James, Nancy (Gerald) Dixon, Alice (Bobby) Hobbs and Annette Steele; uncles, Sylvester (Gloria) Lang and James Williams; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends
