My life was beautiful; for as long as it lasted, but the journey of my life has come to an end. Some lives are measured not in years, but in the love they give and the light they leave behind. Such was the life of Bruce Robinson whose journey ended far too soon. Bruce Robinson was born on August 10, 1977, to Brenda Lee Robinson and Tony Butler in Brunswick, Georgia. He was educated in the Glynn County public school system.
Bruce accepted Christ at an early age and was united with Greater Hall Temple. He enjoyed practicing kick boxing, spending time with his close friends, and the excitement of playing the lottery.
We sorrow, but not as those who have no hope. We are sorrowful because we shall miss his humor and presence. On May 24, 2026, God in His wise providence saw fit to call Bruce home to rest with Him. Departing this life, he is preceded in death by his father, Tony Butler; brother, Marquise Robinson Bryant; grandfather, Robert Williams; great-grandmother, Everlina Bess; and aunt, Sandra Easton.
Bruce leaves to cherish his everlasting memories: daughter, Adrena Levy Gamboa of Brunswick, GA; mother, Brenda Lee Robinson of Brunswick, GA; granddaughters, Journee Beckley Divinity and Serenity Levy Gamboa, both of Brunswick, GA; sister, Amelia Robinson of Brunswick, GA; brothers, Michael Robinson and Bernard Robinson, both of Brunswick, GA; grandmother, Bobbie Gean Robinson; aunts, Tina Easton, Lora Easton, Donna Robinson, and Barbara Fagan, all of Brunswick, GA; great-aunt, Gloria (Sylvester) Lang of Savannah, GA; great-uncles, George (Barbara) Whitaker, Jerome Whitaker, and Carl Whitaker, all of Brunswick, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
