Death is actually a way of life for the Christian, for we are told by our Lord that we must daily "take up our cross" (Luke 9:23), an instrument of death, to follow Him. In one sense, death is a welcomed deliverer to the Christian, for it is a means of gaining immediate entrance into the presence of Christ. On September 25, 2018, Carrie Lou Washington Davis picked up her cross and said farewell to this cruel old world. It is with heart felt sadness that we announce the transition of Mrs. Carrie Lou Washington Davis. The family solicit your prayers during their time of bereavement because it is difficult to say farewell to those that we deeply love. Truly her presence shall surely be missed; but the endless memories, shall forever be embellished within the core of our hearts.
