Char-T'Airra Nikkita LaFlorence Givens

Char-T’Airra Nikkita LaFlorence Givens, affectionately known as TeTe and T’Airra, was born on April 29, 1997, in Brunswick, Georgia, to Charlene Cameron and the late Edgar Walker.  She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Walker; maternal grandparents, Mary and Johnnie Hillery and Charlie Hankerson; paternal grandfather, Eugene Walker; and her godmother, Florence Givens.     

Char-T’airra attended Glynn Academy in Brunswick, GA.  She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She brought light and love into everyone’s life.  She always had a carefree spirit and a smile on her face.  She was adventurous, spontaneous, and wild-fire, truly the life of the party.  She always made sure her family knew they were loved through her presence or simple gestures of love.  Everyone who knew her felt her heart, her spirit, and the love she freely gave. 

Char-T’Airra went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the age of 28.  She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Charlene Cameron of Brunswick GA; son, Logan Givens of Brunswick GA; brother, Alvin (Adrieana) Jones, III of Brunswick GA; sister, Char’Reeca (Monica) McNeely of Brunswick GA; grandmother, Ophelia Walker of Baxley GA; dad, Terry (Latonya) Simpson of Darien GA; grandmother, Denita Devereux of Atlanta GA; grandfather, Willie (Pat) Tiller of Atlanta GA; honorary godmother, MaeEllen Green; family in love, Starr Hardney, Brittnay Moses, Justo Padilla; James Benson; special friends, Kristin Hughes, Ebony Grant, Takelia Smiley, and Savannah Johnson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who all loved her dearly.
