Charlene O. Williams was born on December 23, 1952, to Elijah Brown and Lillie Mae Osbourne in Brunswick, Georgia. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy High School.
Charlene Williams accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. In her leisure, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and friends. Charlene was the housekeeping supervisor at Sea Palms until her health started to decline.
On September 30, 2023, early Saturday morning, Charlene departed this life at Southeast Georgia Health System. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah Brown and Lillie Mae Osbourne; adopted parents, James and Lilliebell Floyd; and great-granddaughter Nova T. Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, James Williams; five children, Jamicheal Williams of Jacksonville, FL, Anna Williams, Kim Williams, Jenell Williams, and William Holloway, all of Brunswick, GA; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Massey and Frances Mercer, both of Brunswick, GA; one brother-in-law, Michael Williams of East Orange, NJ; fifteen grandchildren, Lashawn, D’Andre, Dayja, Paul, Jashad, Xavier, William IV, Deshawn, Miracle, Makiyah, Markel, Robin, Devante, Jabori, and Tristen; seven great-grandchildren, Shakih, D’Ivory, Shakur, Sienna, Dundre, Ja’Tayla, and Dalilah; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
