Colin Eady Obituary

May the works I have done speak for me. All that I have ever done is to help others to better their lives through encouragements and advice. When I am resting in my grave, there is nothing that can be said; may the works that I have done, speak for me. May the life that I live, speak for me. My mistakes, God will forgive; may the life that I live speak for me.

Colin Antonio Eady, Sr, was born November 29, 1979, in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Corean Eady and the late Arthur Greene, Sr. Colin received his education in the public schools of Hampton District 2. He was a 1999 graduate of Estill High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Army in September 1999 and received an honorably discharged.

Colin’s mission in life was to provide a better life for his children, and to take care of his queen, which is how he referred to his wife; Kennesha, so he worked multiple jobs. At the time of his death, he was employed by Bloom at Belfair as an executive chef for many years. He has also worked for several other companies: Pre-Paid Legal, Prime America, Visalus, FES, FOREX, and Rich Master Class. He was an entrepreneur with a line of very good seasonings. In his leisure time, he enjoyed helping, motivating, and teaching other people how to better their lives.  The joy of his life was showing off his cooking skills.

God knows what’s best for us, even when we do not know what’s better for ourselves. God knew Colin’s time on earth was completed, so he sent his angels to reclaim his child on October 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Arthur Greene, Jr, and a sibling, baby Eady.

Colin leaves to cherish his memories and continue his legacy:  his loving and amazing wife, Kennesha Hutchinson Eady; six children, Colin, Jr., Saniah, Calen, Kayla, Samya and Samari Eady all of Beaufort, SC; four sisters, his twin, Colleen (Antayvis) Eady of Rivershill, SC, Rebbeca (Lionell) of Pooler, GA, Ashley (Kwame) of Jonesville, SC and Angela Greene of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Thomas Hutchinson of Garnett, SC and Robert Jenkins of Point South, SC; stepmother, Angela Ford Greene of Beaufort, SC; three aunts, Anna Eady of Garnett, SC, Jacqueline Eady (Tim) Lee, of Port Wentworth, GA, and Valerie Eady of Columbia, SC; one uncle, James Eady of Rincon, GA; mother and father-in-law, Sara and Harry Hutchinson of Estill, SC; three sisters-in-law, Peggy (Mark) of Atlanta, GA, Latravia (Stephen) , and Laqwanda Hutchinson all of Estill, SC; the love of his life, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; two special friends, Diedra Smalls, and Jessica Washington; very special men in his life, James Eady, the late John Eady, and Mr. Bennie Hazel.May the works I have done speak for me.
