Felicia Ross Obituary

To my family and friends, other than my relationship with God, the love that we shared is the best thing that has ever happened to me in life, but this earthy chapter of my life has ended. Death is evitable and will happen to all mankind. Don’t worry about me, I’m home with Jesus for eternity. Some of you perhaps may weep because my eyes are closed in eternal sleep, but my beloved family, my spirit has gone to a world far above to be with loved ones who have gone on before me. My spirit shall wait a while in that Heavenly place until the day we shall meet again. Don’t fill your lives with so much sorrow, because you feel that my life was cut short. When God gave me to this world, he wrote February 3, 2026, as my exit date in the Book of Life.

She was truly one of God’s gift to her parents. What a blessing she was to them. During her life, she always did her best at being the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend. Felicia Ann Ross was born on July 27, 1966, to Felecia Washington in Hollywood, South Carolina. She was educated in the public schools of Charleston County. She was a graduate of Baptist High School in Hollywood, South Carolina.

Felicia Ann Ross’ life was built on a spiritual foundation; she accepted Christ and was united with First Zion Baptist Church.

Felicia Ann Ross was united in holy matrimony with Lonnell R. Ross on June 20, 1992, in Brunswick, Georgia. They were married for thirty-three years but together for forty-one years. Their union was blessed with two children, Rakeen Lonnell Ross and Sakeem Laroy Ross.

Felecia was an amazing individual and a hard worker. God gave her and Lonnell the vision to create their own cleaning company. As entrepreneurs at heart, they created R&S Janitorial Cleaning Service.

God will determine when our earthly life is over, so He sent his angels to reclaim his gift to this world on February 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Washington; grandmother, Herlene Jenkins; aunts, Eva Johnson and Erma Hicks; and uncle, Elijah Jenkins.

She leaves to cherish her memories and continue her legacy: her husband, Lonnell Ross; oldest son, Rakeem Ross; youngest son, Sakeem Ross; sister, Takia Washington; brothers, Jerry Bull, Cortez Washington, and Steven Washington; aunts, Wilma Green and Barbara Ann Lemon; cousins, Jemme Jenkins, Jr. Johnson, Ivan Johnson, and Ivan “IJ” Johnson; and other relatives and friends.
