Gladys Thomas Rowe was born on August 10, 1928, to the union of Levi Thomas, Sr., and Minnie Lee Thomas in Waynesville, Georgia. Gladys received her formal education at Springfield Massachusetts Tech.
Gladys accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 40 and was united with Holy Temple COGIC in Massachusetts. She later moved to Brunswick, Georgia and started attending Greater Halls Temple. While living in Massachusetts, she sung with the Massachusetts State Choir. She enjoyed the Lord, reading, and studying the Bible.
Gladys Thomas Rowe departed this life on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi Thomas, Sr., and Minnie Lee Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Annetta (Andrew) Bell; grandsons, Clinton Williams and Trevon (Cayla) Brooks; great-granddaughter, Camilla Rae Brooks; niece, Joann Williams; nephews, Toni Williams and Michael Williams; and a host of cousins
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home at any given period during the viewing process. We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building.
