Glenda Y Clark

Glenda Yvonne (Murray) Clark was born on July 14, 1960, to the union of Willie Louise (Mincey) and Franklin Columbus Murray in Brunswick, GA. She was always happy, astute, and very caring. She often supported people in their pursuits and enjoyed celebrating them. She attended Glynn County public schools and was a graduating member of Brunswick High, Class of 1979. Glenda was the eldest of three children. She was very proud of her siblings, Frank and Rosalyn.

Glenda was employed as a CNA at Grace More Nursing & Rehab. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Glenda loved fashion and definitely had an eye for it. She married Marvin Clarke in 1983. From this union, their two beautiful daughters, Brittany and Tiffany, were born.

Glenda loved the Lord and was God-fearing! She was a devout member of Abyssinia Baptist Church, serving on the Usher Board as well as a choir member. She truly connected to the Lord through praise and worship.

She was preceded in death by her father, Franklin Columbus Murray; mother, Willie Louise Mincey Murray; and grandmother, Ouida (White) Mincey. 

She leaves to mourn and reject upon beautiful memories: her husband, Marvin Leon Clark; daughters, Brittany Louise Clark and Tiffany Chennye Clark; brother, Franklin Lenard (Michelle) Murray; sister, Rosalyn Denise Murray; grandchildren, Royal Iris Ross, Nevaeh Clark, Na’Quawndre Coleman, Na’Quavious Clark, Sahduur Thornton, and Kaleigh Clark; aunts, Haydee Mincey and Ethel Bryant; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
