“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7-8
As you celebrate my homegoing, I pray that each of you will remember that I fought so hard to remain with each of you. I have finished my earthly course of life. My sudden departure was all a part of God’s plan for me, so keep the faith. A loving God knows what’s best for each of us, so please don’t be angry with God because he took me sooner than any of you planned. I am no longer walking my earthly journey. In my absence, remember that my spirit lives on. My father knew that after seventy-six years of trial and tribulations, I was ready for this journey. This journey was full of peace and tranquility, so don’t worry about me because now I am free.
