James D Reed

James Daryl Reed was born on January 28, 1959, to the union of Willie James and Carrie C. Reed in Sanford, Florida. He received his formal education at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, GA. James Daryl Reed enlisted into the United States Army in 1977. He was honorably discharged in 1981. He furthered his education in the United States Army and became a field artillery soldier. After being honorably discharged, he later became a paramedic. James Daryl Reed accepted Christ as his Savior. In his leisure time, he enjoyed visiting his friends and neighbors, and working on cars. He was employed by Grady Hospital as a paramedic and medical technician.

James Daryl Reed departed this life on October 15, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie James Reed; brother, William Ardis Colton; grandparents, James and Kitty Clayton; four uncles and six aunts.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Carrie Reed; sisters, Patricia Adams, Pamela Evans, Felecia Wheeler, Janette Reed, Dwala (Rufus) Aiken and Regina (Michael) Jackson; brother, Gregory Reed; niece, Kai Avery Cross and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
