Joe David Austell, Sr.

Joe David Austell was born on December 14, 1942, to the late Albert and the late Florie Austell in Waverly, Georgia. He received his formal education at Ralph Bunche High School in Woodbine, Georgia. In his leisure, he enjoyed watching westerns and being outside grilling. His favorite colors were blue and white.

Joe David Austell, Sr. departed this life on December 24, 2022. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Austell of Daytona Beach, Florida.

He leaves to cherish his memories four children: sons, Joe Austell, Jr. (Robin), Kelvin Austell (Tammy) and Kyle Austell (Miranda); daughter, Kristy Austell; his brother, James Austell (Priscilla); his sister, Alfreda Dallas (Lester); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside or funeral service, either inside or outside, must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home or any other facility at any given period during the viewing process.  We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building. The family is most appreciative to each of you for all acts of kindness shown to them during this difficult time in their lives.
