“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” II Corinthians 5:8
God blessed John with many talents. We never really understood why, but now I know that he was preparing him for his early exit and his eternal life.
To all my loved ones that I am leaving behind, don’t worry about me because my Heavenly Father has set me free. Please be forever grateful and thankful for the happiness we’ve shared. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. My life’s been full; I’ve savored much. This place was never meant to be a permanent home for any of us. Through all the pain and heartaches, give praises and honor to my Heavenly Father for setting me free. As you celebrate the end of my life’s journey, I pray that each of you will find comfort in knowing that a loving and compassionate God knows what is best for each of us.
