Karen Williams Obituary

As you celebrate the end of my life’s journey, I pray that each of you will find comfort in knowing that a loving and compassionate God knows what’s best for each of us. Although my life appears to be brief, I’ve lived an exciting and full life during my sixty-four years on earth. We've shared so many fun memories, countless hours of laughter, and so much love, so
keep these memories within each of your hearts and minds. Use them to comfort the pain when you start to miss my presence. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding take away all tears. I want each of you to remember my radiant smile, and how I impacted each of your lives. Through all the pain and suffering, remember the joy that I brought into
your lives. Life has a joyful beginning but sometimes it can be a painful ending for those loved ones we leave behind. I don’t want my exit from this life to be painful for any of my family and friends, so begin each day with my contagious smile.

The joy that I brought to this world began on June 25, 1958, in Brunswick, Georgia. What an amazing bundle of joy God gave
my parents, Hayward Cuthrell and Novella Coleman. Karen Williams received her formal education at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia. She accepted Christ as her Savior in 1982
at the age of 24 and was united with the Church of Christ, where she served as a faithful member.

Karen Cuthrell was united in holy matrimony with Rickey Williams on May 15, 1982, in Brunswick, Georgia. Their union was blessed with five children: Chad Henley, Faith Burks, John Williams, Carlos Williams, and Tasha Vaughn.

In her leisure, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, singing, shopping, serving the Lord, and blessing others. Her favorite color was purple. She was self-employed as an estate manager and caregiver.
God sent his angels to Brunswick, Georgia, to reclaim his gift to this world on May 29, 2023.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Rickey Williams; two sons, Chad (Melisa) Henley, and John Williams; one daughter, Faith (Melvin) Burks; two bonus children, Carlos (Felicia) Williams and Tasha Vaughn; two brothers, Nasseer (Theresa) Muhammed and Willie Coleman; two sisters, Sharon Holmes, and Luetrice Lott; one aunt, Lillie Mae Coleman; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two goddaughters, Hannah Moran, and Victoria Edwards; three brothers-in-law, Willie J. Williams, Kirk B. Williams, and Wilfred M. Williams; special friend, Thelma Moran; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
