We realize that God Almighty knows best, even when the decision that he makes, doesn’t always seem to be the best for us. No matter how sad, we may feel, or how much we will miss her; there’s no better place for her to be, than in God’s loving arms. What we do know is how we feel and what Kendrea meant to each of us.
Kendrea Renae Bacon was born on September 20, 1986 to Kenneth and Andrea Bacon in Brunswick, GA. She was educated in the Glynn County Public School System. She was a 2005 graduate of Brunswick High School. Kendrea accepted Christ at an early age and was united at St. Paul Baptist Church, where she served as a member.
Our hearts are heavy, and we are looking to Heaven for our strength. God sent his angels to reclaim His gift to our family on Tuesday, August 4th, 2020, UF Health, Jacksonville, Florida.
Kendrea was employed by Local I.L.A 1423 as a laborer for 10 years. Her favorite color was black. She took pride in her Camaro and recently purchased her first motorcycle. If she was not working at ILA Local 1423 or her secondary job, she was doing what she loved, crabbing. She also loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She also picked up a hobby of cooking. She was an active advocate for the community. Speaking out and making a change when it came to violence. She also enjoyed having a good time and making everyone around her happy. She could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She was also a small business owner of “K’Z ANSI GEAR”.
She was preceded in death by her; grandmother, Betty Lane; aunt, Diane Whitten; uncles, Robert Lane, James Chastine, and Michael Williams; and brother, Jerrel Whitten.
