Mack Goethe Obituary

Mack Goethe received his call to eternal rest on November 25, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born to his parents, the late Everlena Anderson and the late Heyward Goethe.

He was a trucker driver for over fifty years at Kaster Moving Company. This was his love and passion. He drove over two million miles and seen all fifty states. He enjoyed music especially the blues and cooking for anyone who came over to visit. He also enjoyed working on cars, hanging out with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his life-long companion, Dorothy Housey; son, Mack (Ant) Goethe; daughters, Faye Barrett- Morris, Cathy Whitley, Yolanda Goethe, Alicia Goethe, Tracy Goethe, Linda Goethe, Shawnee Goethe and Da’Jaa Fields; step-daughters, Renee Smith and Dorothy Davis; stepson, James Lark; brother, Heyward Goethe and Wordell Johnson; sisters, Everlee Goodwin, Carrie Harris, Gloria Goethe and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his passing.

He was predeceased by his sister, Queen E .Davis.
