Mae Helen Mack was born on January 22,1968 to the union of Hubert and Juanita Best in Brunswick, GA.
Mae received her formal education in the Glynn County Public School System. Graduating from Glynn Academy.
She attended Payne Chapel AME Church where she sang in the choir.
In her leisure she enjoyed dancing and being the life of the party. She would give freely to anyone in need. She enjoyed taking care and feeding others. She had a heart of gold. She also loved her family, listening to old school music, and watching old movies.
She was employed by Jameson Inn as a Supervisor. Mae Helen Mack departed this life on February 17, 2021.
She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Dennis (Lashea) Walker, Eric Walker and Joshua Walker; daughters, Shaneesha (Arnold) Anderson, Evelyn Walker, Shanice Solomon; grandchildren, Jerome, J’Neesha, Jaleesha, Miracle, Brayden, Angel, King and Shanaya; sisters, Lonnie (Reuben) Cain, Wallene Mincey, Sandra Best, and Lou Jane Douden; brothers, Hubert (Carolyn) Best and William Best; aunts, Sue Lee (Robert) Lawrence, Maggie Lee Parker, Pauline (Gene) Smiley and Mae Francis; uncle, Gerald Gardner; special friend, Melvin Pinckney; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, as ordered by the Governor for the State of Georgia, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home at any given period during the viewing process. We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building.
