Michael Eugene Johnson

Michael Eugene Johnson was born September 2, 1963, to parents Carlton “Buster” Johnson and Thelma A. Williams. He received his formal education at Camden County High School in Kingsland, GA.

In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing basketball, football,  fishing, hunting, dancing, and listening to music.

Michael Eugene Johnson departed this life on November 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by parents, Carlton “Buster” Johnson and Thelma A. Williams; grandparent,: Eldora Pyles and Willie Pyles.

He leaves to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy:  wife:,Charlotte Lee Johnson; nine children, Rekisha R. Johnson of Brunswick, GA, Tacara D. Johnson and Michelle R. Johnson both of Waverly, GA, Stephanie Johnson-Parker (Darrius) of Suffolk, VA, Tiffany A. Scipp (Jimmy) of Atlanta, GA, Michael E. Johnson, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Mikayla Morgan of Belleville, IL, Devin R. Johnson of Waverly, GA, KayCee T. Prior of Brantley, GA; four step-children, Dalton Wilson, Shanise Wilson, Brandy Wilson and Tyesha Wilson; 30 grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Jean Gordon, Evelyn Ford and Carlton Johnson; host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home at any given period during the viewing process.  We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building. The family is most appreciative to each of you for all acts of kindness shown to them during this difficult time in their lives.
