Nettie Ann Chisholm was born on October 15, 1950, to the late Edward Chappell and Julia Carter in Brunswick, GA. Nettie Chisholm received her formal education at Risley High School in Brunswick, GA.
Nettie Chisholm accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. Later she united with Warrior’s Worship, where she served as Mother of the Church. In her leisure she enjoyed playing cards and cooking. She was employed by Sea Pak, Lewis Crab and Golden Shore as a packer for many years.
Nettie Chappell was united in holy matrimony with Edward Chisholm in Savannah, GA. Their union was blessed with 2 children: Lindy and Eric.
Nettie Ann Chisholm departed this life on July 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Chappell and Julia Carter; brothers, Henry Chappell and Alvin Alberty; sister, Carolyn Chappell.
She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Eric Bonneham and Lindy Fuller Blackshear; sister, Cheryl Chappell; brothers, Ronald Chappell and George Chappell; aunt and uncle, Arthur & Rose Baker; 6 grandchildren; Kenneth Dobson, Tiffany Fuller, Jerome Fuller, Keone Fuller, Paschell Singleton, Derrick Rogers; 14 great grandchildren; 11 nephews: Larry Capers, Ryan Chappell, Marty Livingston, Chaddrick Capers, Derrick Chappell, Reginald Chappell (deceased), Brad, Brandon, Calvin, Anthony, Jeremiah; a host of great grandnieces, cousins, and 3 devoted friends: Chenell Johnson, Jamie Baker and Willie Purnell.
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home at any given period during the viewing process. We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building.
