Odell Lee

Odell Lee was born on March 1, 1943, to Alma and Rudolph Lee in Brunswick, Georgia. He received his formal education at Risley High School in Brunswick, Georgia. He was united in holy matrimony with Martha Smith on July 9, 1968, in Darien, Ga. Their union was blessed with four children: Charles Lee, Charisse Lee, Melony Mitchell, and Jerome Watkins.

In his leisure he enjoyed fishing. He was employed by ILA Local 1423 for twenty-one years before he retired.

Odell Lee departed this life on May 6, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Henderson; father, Rudolph Lee; sister, Margarita Gray; brother, Walter Nails and son, Charles Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Martha Lee; daughters, Charisse Lee and Melony (Reginald) Mitchel; son, Jerome Watkins; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great- great grandson; one niece, Theresa Baker; one nephew, George (Emma) Jackson and a host of friends.
