Life has many struggles, and with the help of God, we are equipped to overcome the obstacles in our lives. Today is a challenging time in our lives, but we keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me. To those I am leaving behind, remember the good and troubled times, the laughter, the journey I’ve walked over the years, the exceptional life I lived until the very end. I know that my sudden departure has created a gloomy situation in each of your lives but keep smiling and surely the sun will eventually shine through because death is inevitable. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. I truly was blessed to live the three scores God promised me.
Ollie Mae Hall Cross was born on January 11, 1942, to Samuel Hall and Ollie Mae Shaw Hall. She received her formal education at Risley High School in Brunswick, GA. Ollie accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was employed by Southeast Georgia Health System in the Environmental Services Department.
Ollie Mae Hall was united in holy matrimony to Charlie Cross in Brunswick, GA. Their union was blessed with two daughters, Michelle Cross Rogers and Charlotte Cross.
Ollie Mae Cross departed this life on July 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Cross; parents; thirteen siblings; and son-in-law. She leaves to cherish her memories: her two daughters, Michelle Rogers and Charlotte Cross; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends
