As you celebrate the end of my life’s journey, I pray that each of you will find comfort in knowing that a loving and compassionate God knows what’s best for each of us. Although my life appears to be brief, I’ve lived an exciting and full life. We’ve shared so many fun memories, countless hours of laughter, and so much love, so keep these memories within each of your hearts and minds. Use them to comfort the pain when you start to miss my presence. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding take away all tears. Don’t forget all the laughter we shared, which was like the roaring thunder on a rainy day. Through all the pain and suffering, remember the joy that I brought into your lives. Eternal life has a joyful beginning, but sometimes it can be a painful ending for those loved ones we leave behind. I don’t want my exit from this life to be painful for any of my family and friends, so begin each day with my smile.
