Mrs. Patricia Williams Hobbs was born on May 3, 1958, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Wyllie and Rosalee Williams. She was a member of Silas Missionary Baptist. At an early age, Pat was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ into her life. She joined First African Baptist Church when she moved to Darien, GA. She sung in the choir. She attended Northwestern Middle in Jacksonville, FL and later moved to Darien, GA, where she received her education at McIntosh County Academy.
Later she moved and did some traveling. She received certificates from the Star Foundation and later received her Diploma from Ashworth College. Pat worked for Altama Delter as a machine operator and a dedicated caregiver for over 30 years. She touched so many people’s lives and brought joy to her clients and their families lives. Her hobbies were writing, shopping, singing, dancing, and enjoying life. In her leisure she enjoyed listening to music, singing, and being around her family

Pat is survived by and leaves to cherish her memories: her longtime husband and friend, Willie Hobbs III of Brunswick, GA; three children, Jameelah Charles, Patrick Ellis, and Sena Wallace, all of Brunswick; son-in-law, James Wallace; grandchildren, Israel Ramsey, Patrick Ellis, Jr., Jazrael Ellis, Elijah Mitchell, Ja’mour Ellis, Rodrick Thomas, and Jeremiah LeCounte; grandchildrenin-love, Paul Wilson and Zykee Reese; two uncles, Samuel Newton of Darien, GA and Rev. David (AnnieRee) Thomas of Phenix City, AL; in-laws, Elorna and Willie Hobbs, Jr. (Sandra); close cousins, Betty Boston of New York, Barbara Villages of Jacksonville, Patsy Thomas and Jerome Thomas of Brunswick, GA; a host of relatives and sorrowing friends, among them who were very dear to her, Zykee Reese, Jr., and Devon Haye
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home at any given period during the viewing process. We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building.
