Wherever we go, from our birth throughout our life and into the passage of death, the Lord is always and ever with us. When the time comes to bid this life farewell, we should find comfort in knowing that a loving God will be there with us to guide us to our new home. Patricia Ann Harris Rutledge was born on September 24, 1955, to Clarence and Leola Harris in Sterling, GA.
Patricia A.H. Rutledge received her formal education in the Glynn County school system in Brunswick, GA. She furthered her education at Troy University in Brunswick, GA. Patricia accepted Christ as her Savior at Needwood Baptist Church at an early age and was united with Macedonia Baptist Church, where she served as a secretary and clerk of the church.
Patricia A. Harris was united in holy matrimony with James Rutledge in 1980 in Brunswick, GA. Their union was blessed with three children: Lakeysha Rutledge, Clarice Rutledge-Williams, and Jasmine Walker.
In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening and studying the word of God. Throughout her life, she held a variety of positions in cosmetology, healthcare, and security services. Patricia A.H. Rutledge departed this life on March 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clarence and Leola Harris, and her husband, James Rutledge, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, LaKeysha Rutledge, Clarice (Christopher) Rutledge-Williams, and Jasmine (Joshua) Walker; grandchildren, Erica Rutledge of Austell, GA, JaiKayla Scott, Maurice Walden, James Walden, Jamie Lewis, Jr., Jacorry Walker, Larron Rutledge, Laryssa Rutledge, and Jrue Walker; a dear friend, Joseph Butler; and a host of other family and friends
