Ronald Cleveland, Sr. Obituary

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7

A page has been turned; the chapter of my life is now completed. As you celebrate the final chapter of my life, please remember the battle I fought to remain on earth with each of you. Throughout my life, I have traveled to many places, and while this chapter of my life may have come to an end, it was all part of God’s plan for me. Family and friends, although you are hurting and don’t understand God’s decision, please accept the will of God, because a loving and awesome God doesn’t make mistakes. I want each of my family members and friends to begin your journey of healing by remembering the joy that we shared through the years. Don’t worry about me, I have gone on to be with other loved ones who have gone before me.

Ronald William Cleveland, Sr., was born on August 9, 1948, to John and Lucinda Cleveland in Columbia, South Carolina. He received his formal education at Bethel High School in Columbia, South Carolina. He furthered his education in Brunswick, Georgia, receiving some college credits.

Ronald Cleveland accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. In his leisure, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He enlisted in the United States Army on September 26, 1967. He was honorably discharged on September 25, 1973. He was employed by Georgia Pacific as a Brownstock Operator for thirty years.
