Ronnie Randolph Obituary

Today, we gather in the spirit of thanksgiving to celebrate the life and legacy of Ronnie Lynn Randolph. Don’t think of Ronnie as gone away because his journey has just begun. Life holds many facets and Earth is only one. Just think of Ronnie as resting free from pain. He has gone to a place where there are no days and years. Nothing loved is ever lost, and he was loved so much.

Ronnie was born on November 6, 1957, in Miami, Florida, to the late George W. Randolph and the late Rosa E. Thompson Randolph Tyson. He was educated in the Camden County public school system and was a graduate of the class of 1976 at Camden County High School. After graduation, Ronnie moved to Miami, Florida. He was employed at National Car Rental, Inc., until he was placed on medical disability. He was a faithful member of Peaceful Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, Florida, serving as a member of the choir. In 1999, Ronnie moved back to Brunswick, Georgia, to be with his family and close friends. As he continued his walk of faith, he was led to Calvary Christian Center in Waverly, Georgia, under the leadership of Pastor Jeffery Muchison. Ronnie was blessed with a son, Tremaine Williams, on February 4, 1987. He was a “people person” and he never met someone he was not friendly with. His favorite saying was “How’re you doing?” to each person who graced his presence. He was always caring and concerned about everyone in his life. He enjoyed cooking, baking cakes and pies, and attending church.

On Saturday, February 4, 2023, our Lord said to Ronnie, “Well done; come home, My son.” He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa E. Thompson Randolph Tyson; father, George W. Randolph; and two brothers, Emory Randolph and Eugene “Tankie” Tyson, Jr.

His memories will forever be cherished by: his son, Tremaine Williams of Miami, FL; granddaughters, Killey and Bailey Williams, both of Miami, FL; sister, Gladys Randolph-McIntosh of Brunswick, GA; brother, Christopher Randolph of Miami, FL; aunts, Hattie Vaughn and Nancy Ritchie, both of Brunswick, GA; uncle, Johnny (Reatha Mae) Thompson of Waverly, GA; sister-in-law, Beatrice Brown-Randolph of Brunswick, GA; goddaughters, Keirra Hilbert and Jennifer Gantt, both of Miami, FL; special cousin, Alberta (Elvis) Randolph of Waverly, GA; loving caregivers, Roland Johnson and Charlie Clay, both of Brunswick, GA; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside or funeral services, either inside or outside, must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home or any other facility at any given period during the viewing process.  We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building. The family is most appreciative of each of you for all acts of kindness shown to them during this difficult time in their lives.
