A limb has fallen from the family tree. Remember the best times and the laughter we had over the years. Don’t forget the good life I lived while I was strong. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease; my soul is at rest. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin, until the day comes when we're together again.
Rose Marie Griffin Bennett, known as Ree, was the second oldest daughter of the late Marvin Griffin, Sr., and the late Bernice Ruth Griffin. She toiled on this earth for sixty-seven years and transitioned peacefully at her home on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Rose Marie attended the public schools of Hampton District #2. She furthered her education and received numerous certificates (CNA, Reserve Police Officer, and Foster Parent Certification). Powder face as she was affectionately known, had a passion for being a beauty queen each day of her life. Her clothes, makeup, and hair always had to be intact.
