Sevron Wilson Obituary

We are in this world for a limited time, this world is not our home. We are just passing through on our way to our heavenly home. Sevron Keith Wilson was born on July 27, 1957, to the union of
Sevron and Pecolia Baisden in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Sevron Wilson attended Harrington Graded School on St. Simons Island and graduated from Glynn Academy High School of Brunswick, Georgia. Upon graduation, he attended Florida A & M College of Tallahassee, Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in horticulture. He was a “Mad Scientist.”

Sevron Wilson accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of twelve and was united with Emanuel Baptist Church, where he served on the usher board. Being his mother’s baby boy, he moved his membership to First African Missionary Baptist Church on St. Simons Island. He attended church here whenever he came home from Atlanta. Transplanting him from St. Simons to Atlanta, being the mad professor a few times a month, he would call us individually. He had no children of his own, but he treated his nieces and nephews as his. His “little dearests” were DonDon, Shay, and LaVon. Everybody loved “Uncle Buster,” the family’s analytical genius. He was a diehard Raiders fan. He was employed by the City of Atlanta as a Supervisor of the Water & Sewer Department for over twenty-five years.

Sevron Keith Wilson departed this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by father, Sevron Baisden; mother, Pecolia
Baisden; brother, James Wilson; and nephews, Jason Brown and Sylvester Hardy.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted, dedicated, and loving aunt, Shirley W. Roberts of Brunswick, Georgia; sisters, Cynthia Wilson- Brown of New York City, Doreen Hardy of Brunswick, Georgia, Shaquita Baisden of Boston, Massachusetts, and TaDonya Thomas of Brunswick, Georgia; brothers, Quamaine Baisden of St. Simons Island, Georgia, and Henry T. Wilson of St. Simons Island, Georgia; nieces, Marci Wilson of Brunswick, Georgia, Katherine Wilson of Suffolk, Virginia, Chanel Walker of Brunswick, Georgia, Mialey Burrand of Boston, Massachusetts, Azar’ah Wilson of Brunswick, Georgia, Vanessa Baisden of Brunswick, Georgia, Violet Baisden of Brunswick, Georgia, Sha’Dae Wilson of Brunswick, Georgia, Sha’Rae Wilson of Brunswick, Georgia, and Jazzmine Wilson of Lawrenceville, Georgia; nephews, John C. Walker and John L. Walker of Pittsburg, MS, Rory Wilson of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Azve’on Thomas of Brunswick, Georgia, Michael McDuffie of Brunswick, Georgia, and Delon Spencer of Marietta, Georgia; Godson, Lester Austell, Jr. of Covington, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and
friends.
