Shelia Michelle Grady was born on October 27, 1966. to Hazel Stephens in Butler, Georgia. She received her formal education at Glynn Academy High School in Brunswick, GA. She was a graduate of the Class of 1985.

Shelia Stephens was united in holy matrimony with Kenneth Grady on June 19 in Brunswick, GA. Their union was blessed with five children: Gene and Dene Stephens, Michael Rivers, Jr., Denzel Nobles and Derek Grady.

In her leisure, she enjoyed listening to music, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Shelia Michelle Grady departed this life on January 28, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Grady; mother, Hazel Stephens and sister, Adrienne Stephens.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her sons, Gene (Kelly) Stephens, Dene Stephens and Michael Rivers, Jr.; bonus sons, Denzel Nobles and Derek Grady; brother Carlos Stephens; beloved grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Siedah Stephens, TaShayla Wells, Kenneth Williams, Jr., Quinntin and Quinntosha Stephens; godmother, Sarah K. Johnson; special friend, Wanda "Baby Mama" Nobles; and a host of grand nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
