Wherever we go, from our birth throughout our life and into the passage of death, the Lord is always and ever with us. When the time comes to bid this life farewell, we should find comfort in knowing that a loving God will be there with us to guide us to our new home.

All that matters is whether we did what we could with the life that was given to us. On February 4, 1951, the world was blessed to receive a precious individual, Shelia Ann Pinkney, the daughter of Enda and Dennis Jones of Brunswick, GA.She was educated in the Glynn County School System. Shelia was a former employee of the Glynn County School System and a member of First African Baptist Church of Brunswick, GA. Shelia Ann Pinkney departed her life on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tabatha Page; grandchild, Laena Pinkney; and great-grandchild, Laena Pinkney.
Her memory will forever be cherished by two daughters: Janipha Harris of Townsend, GA and Montricia (Richard) Campbell of Crescent, GA; two sons, Kelvin Pinkney (fiancée Camille) and Alton (Thavy) Pinkney both of Brunswick, GA; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Pat Cummings of Brunswick, GA; her beloved friend of 45 years, Eddie Lee Matthews of Brunswick, GA; a host of other relatives and friends.
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, as ordered by the Governor for the State of Georgia, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home at any given period during the viewing process. We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building.
