Susie Marie Massey White was born on December 6, 1954 to the late Ed Wesley Massey and Edna Foster Massey in Brunswick, GA.
Susie M. White received her formal education at Glynn County Public School System. She graduated from Glynn Academy, Brunswick, GA.
Susie M. White accepted Christ Jesus as her Savior at an early age.
Susie M. Massey was united in holy matrimony with Luther White, Jr. on December 1, 1987 in Brunswick, GA.
In her leisure, she enjoyed taking care of other people’s children, cooking, having fun with family and watching football games; especially the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Susie Marie Massey White departed this life on December 8, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ed Wesley Massey, Sr., Edna Foster Massey; brothers: Ed Wesley Massey, Jr., and Nathaniel Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Luther White, Jr.; daughters, Porshia Massey and Tumeka Dowdy (Tommy); two daughters, she raised as her own, Nasiya Roberts and Patrice Roberts; nine grandchildren, Jesten R. Collins, Alicia L. Jones, De’Anthony K. Bacon, Na’Shiyah Drayton, Na’Janae D. Roberts, Jabarie M. Lewis, Allie L. Roberts, Janasiya L. Roberts, Joseph Jenkins; one great grandchild, Jeremiah L. Taylor; Goddaughter, TaShenna Lang; three sisters, Joyce Massey Brown, Gloria Sistrunk and Cheryl Caldwell; two brothers, Walter Massey, Jr. and Aaron Caldwell, Jr.; three sisters-in-law, Donna L. White, Elizabeth “Liz” White and Margo White; four brothers-in-law, Samuel Rhone, Horace Rhone, Sherman White, and Eric White; a devoted mother-in-law, Gladys M. White; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, as ordered by the Governor for the State of Georgia, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask. We will also limit the number of persons allowed to enter the funeral home at any given period during the viewing process. We ask that you leave the premise upon exiting the building.
