We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”        II Corinthians 5:8

As you celebrate the end of my life’s journey, I pray that each of you will find comfort in knowing that a loving and compassionate God knows what’s best for each of us.  Although, my life appears to be brief, I’ve lived an exciting and full life during my twenty-nine years on earth.  We've shared so many fun memories, countless hours of laughter and so much love, so keep these memories within each of your heart and minds. Use them to comfort the pain when you start to miss my presence. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding take away all tears. I want each of you to remember my radiant smile, and how I radiated each of your lives. Don’t forget all the laughter we shared, which was like the roaring thunder on a rainy day. Through all the pain and suffering, remember the joy that I brought into your lives. Life has a joyful beginning but sometimes it can be a painful ending for those loved ones, we leave behind. I don’t want my exit from this life to be painful for any of my family and friends, so begin each day with my contagious smile. The joy that I brought to this world began on January 7, 1993, in Brunswick, Georgia. What a handsome bundle of joy God gave my parents, Lazarus J. Core, Jr., and Bertha Rushing!

Terrell was educated in the public schools of Glynn County and was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Brunswick, Georgia. While in high school, he enjoyed running track and loved every moment of running.  After graduation, he furthered his education at Darton State College, Albany, Georgia. At an early age, Terrell accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was affiliated with First Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, Brunswick, Georgia as a waiter.

In his leisure time, Terrell enjoyed being the life of the social setting, setting fashion trends, coordinating and wearing the latest colorful fashion, bringing laughter to the lives of his family and friends, and traveling. Most of all Terrell enjoyed relaxing to music, especially his favorite artist, Nicki Minaj.

God saw Terrell’s struggles and pain, so he sent his angels to Brunswick, Georgia to reclaim his gift to this world on Friday, May 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Lee Rushing, Sr and Lazarus Jermore Core, Sr.

Terrell leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Bertha (Clayton) Butler; father, Lazarus J. Core, Jr.; brother, Anthony B. Neal, Jr.; sister, Latorria J. Core; grandmothers, Mattie Rushing and Annie Mae Core; aunt, Jackie ( Micheal) Stewart; uncles, Joseph L. Rushing, Jr., Albert Rushing, Jermore Core, Robert L. Rushing, Kenneth Goolsby, and Roy L. Wesley; nieces and nephews, Madison Neal, Carrington Neal, Mykenzi Parrish, Ariah Neal, Anaiya Mahony, and Jayden Core; sisters and brothers in love, Nicholas Clark, Andrew Clark, Bridget Webb, Quincy Dasher, and Patrekia Dasher; a host of  other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
