Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4
It is hard to understand why people are taken from us so young, as a family; we find comfort in knowing that Theresa was a special individual who touched many lives during her 52 years on earth.
Theresa Renae Battle was born April 27, 1968 in Orlando, Florida to Mrs. Annie Ruth Mobley and the late Mr. LuVerne Battle. She departed this life on August 1, 2020, Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick, Georgia.
Theresa attended the Orange County Public Schools. Always searching for better opportunities, she moved to Brunswick, Georgia in 2007, where she worked in food and nutrition for Glynn County Public Schools. Theresa LOVED and ADORED her family. She enjoyed baking, dancing, watching her Hollywood movies and playing BINGO. She had a noticeably BIG HEART. No matter the hardships, she always pulled through with a smile on her face, she never held grudges, or allowed anything to hold her back.
Theresa was preceded in passing by her brother, Carlos Battle, sister, Betty Kirkland and father, LuVerne Battle.
Theresa leaves to cherish her precious memories: children, (daughter) Jolicia Pierre of Wilmington, NC, (daughter) Jameliah Williams (Roderick) of Brunswick, GA, (son) Charlie Williams V of Orlando, FL and (son) Jalen Williams of Brunswick, GA; mother, Mrs. Annie Ruth Battle; grandchildren, Roderick lll, Zaria, Zion and Zamir; sisters, Angela Partee, Evelyn McKay (Ricky), Janice Brinson (Johnny), and Kim Battle; brothers, Westlee Battle and Jamie Battle; God-sister, Karen Cunningham; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and all of her friends who reside in Orlando, FL.
