Vita Oliver Obituary

“And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying. Neither shall there be any more pain. For the former things are passed away.” Revelation: 21:4

Time well-spent reflects a life well-lived. No empire lasts forever; no dynasty continues unbroken. Someday you and I will be mere legends. All that matters is whether we did what we could with the life that was given to us. Vita Luequarte Oliver was born on June 11, 1975, to Gloria Ham and Robert Oliver in Miami, Florida.

Vita received her formal education at Bacon County High School in Alma, Georgia. She furthered her education at Job Corps of Brunswick, Georgia. She received her Associate Degree in Business Management from Everest University Orlando South in 2014. Vita was not a frequent churchgoer, but she accepted Christ as her Savior. It was instilled in her from an early age by her grandmother, Annie Bell Ham.

Vita Oliver was united in holy matrimony with Lorita Williams on February 24, 2017, in Brunswick, Georgia. Their union was blessed with three children, Marie Antwarnett Tyson, Cory Dewan Oliver, and Ariyan Markea Shante Williams.

In her leisure, she enjoyed cooking, baking, listening to music, playing with her grandchildren, and drawing. Her favorite colors were red and black. She was employed by Burger King and Door Dash as a cook and dasher.

Vita Luequarte Oliver departed this life on January 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lewis Oliver.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her wife, Lorita Oliver; son, Cory Oliver; daughters, Marie (Clarence) Tyson and Ariyan (Maliyah) Stacy; mother, Gloria Nixon; two brothers, Robert Oliver and Anwar Nixon; two sisters, Gloria (Reginald) Goodwin and Coretha Ham; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
