WILLIAM ROLAND AUSTIN, JR., was born on July 22, 1965, to William Roland Austin, Sr., and Bell E. Holbrook in Jenkin Jones, West Virginia. He received his formal education at Passaic County Technical and Vocational High School in Wayne, New Jersey. A er graduation, he furthered his education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. On August 12, 2002, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. He attended the College of Coastal Georgia where he obtained his Associates Degree in Science in 2009.
William accepted Christ as his Savior and was united with Shiloh Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon on September 30, 2001. He later moved his membership in 2015 to Greater Works Than Thee Ministries, where he served as an usher. In his leisure, he enjoyed listening to gospel music, reading the bible, playing the organ, his family, solving sudoku puzzles, watching the Golden Girls, Judge Judy, and cooking shows. He was employed by United Community Bank as a teller and customer service representative up until 2011.
William Roland Austin, Jr. departed this life on July 6, 2024. He was preceded in death by father, William Roland Austin, Sr.; mother, Bell Elizabeth Austin; sister, Carolyn Carter; brothers, Peyton Austin and Richard Austin.
He leaves to cherish his memories: brother, Ronnie Austin (Michele) of Brunswick, Georgia; three sisters, Kathleen Austin of Paterson, New Jersey, Mary Prince of Brunswick, Georgia, and Judah (Judy) Moore of Detroit, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Austin of Meridian, Georgia, and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
