Angels are sent to earth by God above. Earth needed a handsome, strong willed, and caring individual, so God lent X’Zayvion Anthony Gordon to this world on July 6, 2011, to his loving parents, James Gordon and Antwanett Wilson. He graced our world with his light until May 26, 2024. Though his time with us was brief, it was filled with love, joy, and boundless energy. From an early age, X’Zayvion was a beacon of faith having been christened and welcomed as a member of First Thankful Baptist Church of Estill, SC. His spiritual journey began there, and his presence was a blessing to all who knew him.
X’Zayvion was a bright and vibrant student at Estill Middle School, where his intelligence and talkative nature shone brightly. He was a passionate fan of football and basketball, always cheering for his favorite teams: the USC Gamecocks, Golden State Warriors, and Kansas City Chiefs. Whether on the eld or the court, X’Zayvion’s enthusiasm for sports was infectious. He treasured every moment spent with his family and friends, bringing joy and laughter into their lives. X’Zayvion was a devoted mama’s boy, always seeking comfort and love from his mother. He was also a great big brother, offering guidance and support to his siblings, Denzel Williams, Myles, X’Zariah, and Zoey Gordon.
X’Zayvion joins his beloved family members who preceded him in death: grandparents, Eunice Bostick, Rena and Bobby Bing, Towona Riley, and Virginia Smith; uncles, Joey Gordon and Jerome Wilson; aunt, Sylvia Boston.
He leaves behind a large and loving family: grandparents, Anthony (Sylvia) Wilson, Eugene Riley, and Joe Lee (Ethel) Gordon; aunts and uncles, Monica Riley, Tameka Wilson, Latesha Dennis, Tonya and Sharonda Gordon, Anthony Lee, Keandra Snider, William Spencer; adopted uncles, Derrick and Eric Williams; great aunts, Mary (Frankie) Duke, Virginia Ann Green, Sarah Perkins, Pearlie Mae Wilson, Daisy Woods, Louise Wright, Henrietta Simmons, and Clara Evans; great uncles, Andre (Stacey) Wilson, Ray Riley, Wilbert Gordon, Matthew Lee and James McCutchen, and Jimmie Lee (Kathy) Gordon; great-great aunts, Maxine (Norman) Bostick and Evonne Manor; godparents, Ameer Collins, Patrick Duncan, and Donnashia Green; special cousins, Robert Amaker Jr., Tamia Heyward, Shawntral Hopkins, Jamario Jenkins, Jalen (Maya) Manor, Constance (Benji) Martin, Jasmine (Oscar) Orozco, Francine Pinckney, Cynthia (Joseph) Williams, and Reginald Wilson; extended relatives, Mercedeen Blake, Adasha Brooks, Na’Asia Simmons, and Joann and Javashia White; family friend, Devonte Williams; and a host of beloved family members, including aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will forever cherish his memory and the light he brought into their lives.
